The Thailand Sport Center for Blind Athletes, a project by the Sports Association for the Blind of Thailand (SABT). Founded in 2541 (1998), SABT has been at the forefront of promoting and developing sports for individuals with visual impairments. With the endorsement of the National Culture Commission, we’ve grown to become the “Sports Association for the Blind of Thailand.”
Our mission is to create a world-class sports center catering to the unique needs of blind athletes in Thailand. We’re taking strides towards this goal, focusing on fostering a community of inclusivity, empowerment, and independence through sports.
Blind individuals face significant barriers when it comes to accessing sports and physical activity opportunities. Without proper infrastructure and support, blind athletes are often excluded from mainstream sports and physical activities, leading to limited opportunities for physical exercise, socialization, and personal growth. By establishing the Thailand Sport Center for Blind Athlete, we aim to transform the quality of life for blind individuals by providing them with a range of sports and physical activities tailored to their unique needs, abilities, and interests. With our diverse range of programs and services, we hope to foster a culture of inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment for the blind community in Thailand.
